For too long, the U.S. was viewed through a Hasina- India lens when it came to Bangladesh. This meeting, along with Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s interaction with Dr. Yunus, reshaped that narrative, showing an all-out U.S. endorsement of the Yunus administration. Dr. Yunus’s leadership has garnered international attention, and his prominent role at this year’s UNGA is a matter of pride for Bangladesh.
