Avik Sanwar Rahman is a journalist with extensive media and international relations experience. He has contributed to The Daily Star, Ekushey Television, and BBC Bengali Service, and worked in the US Embassy’s Press Section in Dhaka.
He has also served as Campaign Manager at UNDP and Media Consultant at Swisscontact. His novel “The Box” is cataloged at the Library of Congress. Rahman currently volunteers as Executive Editor for The Bay Wave, a New York-based news magazine.
His latest book Dhak Dynamics: Lensing through Journalism was launched at the New York Book Fair in 2024.
